Dachstein : Just a ten-minute ride in the Dachstein panorama gondola and you are in a completely different world. A marvellous panorama as far as the eye can see and attractions such as the Dachstein suspension bridge with the Stairway to Nothingness, the Sky Walk or the Ice Palace.

The journey to the top of the Schafberg starts at the valley stationLink öffnet in neuem Fenster in St. Wolfgang. After a few minutes and approximately 472 meters, the track crosses the provincial border between Salzburg and Upper Austria and then continues its steep ascent through lush fields and green forests. After 2.7 km, the train reaches the Dorneralm dodge at 1,015 meters above sea level, where Lake Wolfgangsee can already be seen in all its glory.
